Former Prize Winners

Ji Young Lim

Ji Young Lim (*1995) studies with Prof. Nam Yun Kim at the Korean National University of Arts, first at Pre-College, since 2011 as a regular student.

She has won numerous prizes in Korean music competitions including 1st prize at Strad Music Competition (2008). Ji Young also received 2nd prize at the Osaka International Music Competition in 2007 and Ewha Kyounghang Music Competition in 2009.

She has performed at leading Korean Festivals and appeared as a soloist with the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra and the Seoul Academy Ensemble. She was invited to perform a recital within the Prodigy Concert Series hosted by Kumho-Asiana in 2008.

At the 4th International Violin Competition Henri Marteau, she was awarded 3rd price.
