Minkyum Kim

Minkyum Kim was born in 1995 in Daejeon, South Korea. Under Prof. Nam Yun Kim he studied at the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts. In 2012 he changed to the Korea National University of Arts and was also teached by Prof. Nam Yun Kim.

Minkyum Kim gave numerous concerts i.a. concerts by invitation at the Korea President House (Cheong Wa Dae) in Seoul as well as at the Kumheart Hall, Seoul.

He is the 1^st laureate of the Seoul Young Artist Chamber Music Competition (2010), 1^st laureate of the Eumag Chunchu Concours (2007) and has won the 3^rd prize at the Yampolsky Violin Competition (2012). Furthermore he participated in 2010 at the Tibor Varga International Music Academy and also gave a concert with the Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra.

Minkyum Kim has won the 3^rd prize at the 5^th International Violin Competition Henri Marteau (2014).
